Summary
An empty DNS request/response was seen.
Details
A DNS packet contains either "questions", "answers", "authoritative answers", and "additional info" records. It must contain at least one of these types of records. The sensor has detected an otherwise valid DNS packet that contains no such records.
This is caused by:
- Somebody is trying out a different attack that causes null DNS packets as a side effect.
- There exists a bug in some networking software/hardware.
